Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS)- Show Ring Achievements

Zimbabwe Agricultural Show 2025

Biano Simmentals has recorded outstanding success at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) Annual Shows, competing at the highest national level in Harare. These awards affirm the strength, consistency, and quality of our Simmental breeding programme.

**Champion Prize (Male) – Beef**: Recognition of superior conformation, breed character and overall quality.

**Reserve Champion Prize (Female) – Beef:** Acknowledging strong maternal lines and breeding value within the Simbra females.

**Overall Best Cow & Calf Prize:** Awarded for balanced performance, sound motherhood, and future herd potential.

**Reserve Champion Prize (Male) – Beef:** Demonstrating depth of quality and consistency across the herd.

**Grand Champion Prize (Male) – Beef**: Certificate of Excellence awarded to Biano Simmentals for outstanding performance in the male beef category.

Harare Annual Show – ZAS

**Champion Simmental Bull:** reflecting years of disciplined breeding, sound genetics, and a commitment to excellence at the national level.

**Champion Simmental Cow: Recognised for excellence in structure, functionality, and breed standards.**

First Prize – Simmental Senior Cow (6 Teeth): A testament to longevity, soundness, and sustained performance. **First Prize – Simmental Senior Bull (6 Teeth):** Awarded for strength balance, and proven genetic merit.

**Reserve Champion – Simmental Bull:** Highlighting competitive excellence among senior males.

**First Prize – Simmental Junior bull (0 – 2 Teeth):** Early recognition of future breeding potential and genetic promise.

Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) – Breed and Livestock Excellence

Biano Simmentals has also been recognised at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), one of the country’s most prestigious multi-sector exhibitions. The acrylic trophies displayed represent ZITF livestock and breed excellence awards, earned through competitive judging and industry benchmarking.
